one of my fondest memories is going to kiki's bakery with my mom. my mom would always buy me sandwiches, cakes, and other yummy things whenever we went! one of the reasons why i loved going to kiki's bakery because its name reminded me of my all time favorite movie, kiki's delivery service. kiki's delivery service was the first movie i ever watched from studio ghibli, and the entire movie genuinely touched my heart. i remember when i finished watching it, i grabbed my grandma's broomstick and pretended to be a witch. i jumped off the coach and everything, but no luck in flying! oh, i also remember going to the supermarket and buying a can of candy so i can reenact a scene from kiki's delivery service! (hehe...) this movie really brings back my fondest childhood memories and whenever i watch it now, i can't help but to wish i was a carefree kid again.... (: i hope that one day, my kids will treasure this movie as much as i did.
