today, my uncle took my sister and i out for ice cream! he drove all the way down to the city of brea (about 35 minutes away from my house by freeway!) just to get a few cones of ice cream from baskin robbins when he could have just drove to the baskin robbins that was just three minutes away from our house.... hehe... ( "it was because i wanted to be an adventurous uncle!" he said. ) anyways, my 33-year-old uncle thought it would be fun if he accelerated on the freeway... x-x; it scarred my sister and me for life! i swear, i was having a mini-heart attack due to the way he was driving! my sister and i had to beg my uncle to stop his reckless driving and be more careful... (not to mention that it was at night, and there were barely any lights too!) once we got to the city of brea, i can't help but to gape at the amazing sights i saw! the city of brea was simply beautiful and it reminded me a lot of bella terra due to similar building designs. at baskin robbins, my uncle knew the workers so we were given free ice cream! :D my sister got cookies n' cream while i got mint chocolate chip! (my uncle's son and daughter both got cotton candy. i hate how kids are so disgusting when they eat though... it was a pain to clean up their mess... |: ) afterwards, my uncle bought us candy from a store next door! yum yum, swedish fish! >o^ overall, it was a very memorable day! {:
